The second installment of Bayard Cutting Arboretum's Walk on the Wild Side series returns to Paradise Island in July — a unique coastal ecosystem tucked within the arboretum's 690 acres that most Long Islanders have never explored.
Arboretum staff guide the walk, diving into the diversity of plant and wildlife species that inhabit the island and the conservation work underway to protect them. The route covers up to 1.5 miles on uneven terrain, so sturdy footwear is recommended. Free to join, recommended for ages 12 and up.
When: Sunday, July 12, 2026 | 10:00–11:30am
Cost: FREE
