Here's a holiday tradition that starts in the woods. In this six-week Forest School series at Bayard Cutting Arboretum, toddlers and preschoolers explore the grounds collecting pinecones, greenery, and other natural treasures — all of which go toward decorating a nature-themed holiday room on display at the Manor House. Imagine your kid pointing to it and saying "I made that."

Along the way, little ones practice new motor skills, build social skills through imaginative and cooperative play, and grow a real connection to nature and the changing seasons. The program runs rain or shine with both indoor and outdoor time — so dress for a mess!
