Help restore a key piece of East Hampton's watershed at the Village Green Bioswale — a living stormwater system on James Lane that filters runoff, protects water quality, and supports local pollinators. ReWild Long Island leads regular workdays here to maintain and enhance the bioswale's native plantings.
A few of our activities include:
Planting native species and collecting seeds
Maintenance activities: pruning, weeding, watering, removing litter and debris
Learning about sustainability and local initiatives
Our priority is to have fun, get outside, and care for our environment—so come join us! This is hands-on environmental stewardship at the most local level: keeping pollution out of the ponds and ocean starts right here. Show the Village Green Bioswale some love and watch nature love you back.
