This is the last week of Save the Great South Bay's 2026 oyster garden season — and every volunteer session counts. Help close out the summer strong by spending a morning (or afternoon) at one of six community oyster gardens along the South Shore.

The work is simple and satisfying: pull crates from the water, hose and count the oysters, measure, then put them back. No experience needed, no getting in the water. Come once or come every day — it's up to you.
