Mastering pruning requires more than knowing where to cut — it takes creative reasoning to make those decisions come alive in the landscape. This hands-on workshop at Bayard Cutting Arboretum includes an indoor presentation on pruning theory followed by an outdoor tour focusing on the right calendar and techniques for perennial cutbacks.
Your guide is Jenna Zier, the Formal Garden Curator at Bayard Cutting Arboretum. She holds an MPS in Plant Science from Cornell University and is an ISA Certified Arborist — bringing both the art and the science to every cut.
