Squeeze in one last burst of creativity before the school year begins. The Heckscher Museum's School's Out! Art's In! workshops give kids entering grades 2–5 the chance to explore the galleries, get inspired by the artwork on display, and create their own original pieces in a variety of media and techniques.

Two two-day workshops are offered — sign up for one or both. Space is limited and registration is required, so don't wait.

Workshop I: We All Scream for Ice Cream Sculptures — Monday & Tuesday, August 24 & 25
Workshop II: Painting Palette-Palooza — Wednesday & Thursday, August 26 & 27
