Lace up your hiking boots for a Saturday morning on one of the East End's most rewarding trails. The Friends of the Long Pond Greenbelt are leading a moderately-paced three-mile hike with views of Round Pond, Little Long Pond, and Long Pond — three glacial kettle ponds connected by wooded trails through one of the South Fork's largest nature preserves.

This is a great opportunity to explore terrain you might not find on your own, with a knowledgeable leader who knows the Greenbelt well. The hike moves at a comfortable pace and the scenery is worth every step.
