Grab your easel and step outside — Sweetbriar Nature Center is hosting an adult plein air oil painting class on the grounds of their stunning 55-acre preserve. Resident Artist Andie will guide you through the fundamentals of painting outdoors, from capturing moving light and mixing values to working with oils in the open air.

Whether you're picking up a brush for the first time or deepening your practice, this is a chance to slow down and create surrounded by the beauty of Sweetbriar's gardens and trails. All art supplies are provided, so just show up ready to paint.
