The Friends of Heckscher State Park, Bayard Cutting Arboretum Horticultural Society, Friends of Connetquot River State Park Preserve, and the Long Island Greenbelt Trail Conference are teaming up for a special fall day across three beautiful state parks in Suffolk County. These parks form a unique cluster of over 5,700 acres of diverse outdoor experiences — from the extensive woodlands and river corridor of Connetquot to the pristine riverfront grounds of Bayard Cutting Arboretum and the vast recreational attractions of Heckscher State Park on the Great South Bay.

Activities include guided manor house tours, scarecrow-to-farm walks, scavenger hunts, bird coloring tables, nature activities, fish hatchery tours, disc golf demonstrations, guided nature walks, and children's activities. The day wraps up with live music, food trucks, and an end-of-day celebration at Heckscher State Park.
