For 28 years, Manhattan Short has turned moviegoers into judges. Now it’s your turn. The 2026 Manhattan Short Film Festival screens at over 500 venues across six continents during one extraordinary week — and the Cinema Arts Centre is Long Island’s home for the experience.
Watch the Final Ten short film selections, chosen from over 1,000 submissions representing 70 countries, then cast your vote for Best Film and Best Actor. The Final Ten screen simultaneously across the world during a one-week period, with the Best Film and Best Actor awards determined by ballots cast by the audiences in each participating venue. Your ballot joins hundreds of thousands worldwide to determine the winner — and the top films qualify for Oscar consideration.
It’s the only film festival where the audience is the jury, and the results are announced live on the Manhattan Short website at the close of the festival.
