Filmmaker Kent Jones — former Director of the New York Film Festival — comes to the Cinema Arts Centre with his latest film, Late Fame. Willem Dafoe stars as a forgotten New York poet whose work is suddenly rediscovered, upending his quiet life in ways both exhilarating and unsettling. The screenplay is by Oscar-nominated writer Samy Burch (May December).

Jones will be in person for a post-screening conversation about the film. With a cast that also includes Oscar Isaac and a script rooted in the real literary world of New York, Late Fame is one of the most anticipated independent releases of the year — and this is a rare chance to see it with the filmmaker in the room.
