Discover the fascinating history of the Sands Point Preserve on a guided evening walking tour led by an expert docent. The route crosses the Preserve's grounds from Castle Gould to the freshwater pond and ends inside the grand rooms of Hempstead House — tracing the estate's story from the Goulds to the Guggenheims and beyond.
This is an energetic walking tour covering uneven terrain, hills, and stairs, so close-toed walking shoes are a must. For adults and children 12+ only. Rain date is August 19.
