The preserve sits right where the Sound meets the shore, and this guided walk makes the most of it. Environmental educator Hildur Palsdottir leads a morning exploration of the coastal habitat — the plants, birds, and tidal life that make this stretch of the North Shore so rich.
Children will have the opportunity to dig and sift to explore the world under the sand! It's a beautiful way to spend a summer morning with the family, and you'll come away seeing the shoreline a little differently.
