North Shore Animal League America is looking for a full-time Foster Care Associate to help run the daily operations of their Foster Care Department — the program that gives thousands of shelter animals a safe, loving home while they wait for adoption. You'll review and process foster applications, coordinate animal intake and discharge, manage supply inventory, schedule veterinary appointments, and maintain regular communication with foster families to keep every placement on track.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with dogs and cats, knowledge of shelter operations and animal behavior, and strong organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media content creation (Instagram, Facebook) is a plus — you'll help promote foster animals and grow the program's reach. A valid NYS driver's license and flexibility to work evenings and one weekend day are required.
