North Shore Animal League America is hiring an Events Coordinator to support their Events Team in planning and executing fundraising events — including the organization's Annual Gala and other signature mission-driven initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role in Port Washington reporting to the Events Manager.
It's a rare combination: A legitimate event coordination experience at a well-resourced, high-profile nonprofit, at one of the most impactful animal welfare organizations in the world. If you're building a career in nonprofit events and want a role where your work directly funds the rescue of dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens — this is worth a look.
The role covers the full event lifecycle — planning, logistics, vendor outreach, in-kind donations, run-of-show documentation, cross-functional coordination, and post-event follow-up. You'll attend events including some in New York City and occasional evenings and weekends. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required; experience with Canva, Constant Contact, Monday.com, and OneCause is a plus.
