The Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring NSALA’s shelter operations comply with all applicable animal welfare laws, regulations, licensing requirements, and operational standards. This role serves as the organization’s compliance lead, partnering with multiple departments to promote animal welfare, safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented compliance professional with strong operational and relationship-management skills who can balance regulatory oversight with hands-on support in a fast-paced animal welfare environment. They are highly organized, proactive, data-driven, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of care for animals.
