The Whaling Museum's biggest event of the year is back — and it's better than ever. The 5th Annual Sea Glass Festival takes over the museum grounds all day Sunday, July 12, with 30+ artists, sculptors, and stained glass designers celebrating the beauty of the ocean through their work.
Last year drew a record 1,200 visitors. This year promises even more to explore: sea glass jewelry-making classes, a sea glass shadow box workshop, presentations on sea glass history and identification, trivia and scavenger hunts, and the always-popular Whale Sound Contest (yes, you'll try to mimic a giant). Kids and adults alike can drop in and spend as much or as little time as they want.
