Wildlife Center of Long Island's only public fundraising event of the year is back — and it's a full afternoon of up-close encounters with the hawks, owls, turtles, and other wild animals the Center rescues and rehabilitates year-round. Walk a wooded trail through interactive animal-themed stations, catch live raptor shows at noon, 1 PM, and 2 PM, and meet resident ambassadors including Baby and Lady the Red-tailed Hawks, Marcus the Great Horned Owl, and Trixie the Eastern Box Turtle.

There's face painting, wildlife crafts, a photo booth, and pizza, drinks, and ice cream are all included with admission. It's a great outing for families — kids under 3 are free, and every ticket directly supports the Center's work caring for over 2,000 injured and orphaned animals on Long Island each year.
