Rebuilding Together Long Island provides free home safety repairs and accessibility modifications to income-qualified homeowners across the Island — helping seniors, veterans, and families stay safe and independent in their homes. They're looking for volunteers of all skill levels to join their hands-on projects.

Whether you're handy with tools or have never picked up a hammer, there's a role for you. Volunteer opportunities include carpentry, accessibility upgrades like ramps and grab bars, weatherproofing, safety repairs, and smoke and CO detector installation. If your strengths are behind the scenes, they also need help with media, communications, volunteer coordination, event support, and office work. Professionals in architecture, IT, fundraising, legal, occupational therapy, and finance are welcome too.

All projects are guided by experienced leaders, so you'll have the support you need to contribute confidently.
