Branches Long Island is looking for volunteers to help at their community center in Middle Island, where they prepare and distribute hundreds of Blessing Boxes each week — filled with food, diapers, formula, toiletries, and essential household items for families across Long Island navigating financial hardship.

Whether you can spare an hour or a full day, there's something meaningful you can do. Volunteers help with daily packing of boxes, stocking shelves, cleaning, organizing the center, and assisting with intake applications for families requesting support. You'll be paired with a current board member to get started.

Founded with the simple belief that everyone deserves support during difficult seasons, Branches has grown from a small act of service into a trusted community resource — and they need your help to keep it growing.
