Join the Bay Shore crew at their community oyster garden and help restore one of the Great South Bay's most important ecosystems. Save the Great South Bay runs weekly volunteer sessions on Wednesdays at the Bay Shore Oyster Garden where anyone can pitch in — no experience necessary.
Volunteers pull oyster-filled milk crates from the water, hose them down, count and measure the baby oysters (called spat), and return the crates. You never have to go in the water, and you can show up for one session or come back every week.

Upcoming dates: July 22, July 29, August 5, August 12
