If you've always wanted to try watercolor — or you dabble and want to actually get good — this is a great way to spend your Wednesday mornings as the year winds down. Over six sessions at Bayard Cutting Arboretum, you'll learn how to build washes, mix colors, and handle your tools to get the effects you're after, then put it all to work on paintings from reference images you choose.
Your guide is Teresa Cromwell, who has been painting in watercolor since 2006, has won awards in shows across Long Island, and is a Signature Member of the Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Northeast, and Rhode Island Watercolor Societies. A calm, creative weekly ritual in one of Long Island's most beautiful settings.
