Position: Service Corps Member (Fall Cohort)

Stipend: $2,400 for the full term
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9am–4pm (Sep 14–Nov 6)

Planting Fields Foundation's Service Corps is looking for young adults ages 18–26 ready to spend eight weeks doing meaningful, hands-on work on one of Long Island's most beautiful historic landscapes. Rooted in the traditions of Peace Corps and AmeriCorps, the program pairs real stewardship responsibilities with structured mentorship and professional growth.

Corps members work in small crews on trail improvements, invasive species management, habitat restoration, and historic garden care. They also support public programs — helping with tours, school visits, festivals, and volunteer days — and contribute to behind-the-scenes research and interpretation projects that connect the park's landscape to its history and ecology.

On-site housing may be available (fees may apply). Applications are due September 1, 2026.
