Position: Operations Associate

Hours: Primarily nights and weekends; weekdays as needed

Long Island Children's Museum needs an Operations Associate to help keep the museum running smoothly behind the scenes. You'll assist with event setup and breakdown — moving tables, chairs, and equipment — and help with daily cleaning and maintenance of the museum and Nunley's Carousel facility.

This is a hands-on, physical role that's ideal for someone who enjoys working in a family-friendly environment and doesn't mind being on their feet. Prior experience with event setup or facility maintenance is helpful but not required.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent · Prior experience working around children and families · Must be able to lift 50 lbs and use basic hand tools
