Join North Shore Audubon Society volunteers for a morning bird walk through the woodlands, meadows, and shoreline of Sands Point Preserve. September is migration season, so expect a mix of resident songbirds and passing visitors — warblers, raptors, shorebirds, and more.

The walk is open to all experience levels. Bring your binoculars and wear sturdy shoes. Experienced birders are on hand to help with identification and share tips. It's a beautiful, low-key way to spend a Saturday morning on the North Shore.

When: Saturday, September 19, 2026, 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM
Where: Sands Point Preserve, 127 Middle Neck Rd, Port Washington, NY
Cost: FREE (parking $15 for non-members)
Note: Adults only, all levels welcome.
