Led by Long Island Native Plant Initiative Lead Nursery Manager, Maggie Muzante, and Executive Director, Mary Pigliacelli

During the walk, you’ll learn to recognize several common native plant species found right here on Long Island, as we explore the beauty of the meadow at Humes Preserve. Attendees can also expect to learn key identifying characteristics, habitat preferences, and the ecological significance of these native species within the local environment.

This program is FREE but advanced registration is required.
