In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, we invite you to join the Land Alliance’s Free a Tree Challenge. Help us free 250 trees from vines by July Fouth.
Invasive vines, originally introduced as ornamental plants, pose a serious threat to our native trees and forests. As they climb, they block sunlight and airflow, trap moisture that can lead to rot, harbor pests, and even strangle trunks. Join NSLA at Wawapek preserve to remove these vines, push back invasive species and give our trees a chance to thrive.
Advance registration is required.
This program is FREE, but pre-registration is required due to strict permit limits. We unfortunately can’t make exceptions for walk-ins, so please make sure you’re signed up before heading out!
