CRESLI and the Viking Fleet are in the middle of a spectacular 2026 whale watching season — their 31st year together. Recent trips have encountered humpback whales, finback whales, minke whales, dolphins, sea turtles, and incredible pelagic birds. Scientists and professors lead every trip, providing narration and conducting real-time research while passengers enjoy the experience.

Multiple sailings depart from Montauk Harbor this week aboard the Viking Starship and Viking Star. It's a rare chance to see the ocean through the eyes of the researchers who study it.
