The late-season whale watching continues with four CRESLI research cruises aboard the Viking Fleet this week. September often brings some of the best sightings of the year — humpbacks feeding before their southward migration, fin whales cruising the continental shelf, and pods of common dolphins racing alongside the boat.
CRESLI's scientist-led trips are as educational as they are exciting. You'll learn about the marine mammals, sea turtles, and pelagic birds of Long Island's coastal waters while contributing to real research. Choose from a midweek afternoon trip or weekend full-day expeditions.
