Island Harvest Food Bank is looking for a visionary leader to take the helm of its Programs and Network Relations department. This is a C-suite role reporting directly to the President and CEO, with responsibility for the full portfolio of programs and services that support Island Harvest's mission of ending hunger and reducing food waste on Long Island.
As a member of the executive leadership team, the Chief Programs and Network Officer will help shape organizational strategy, manage and carry out objectives from the strategic plan, and work closely with the Board of Directors. The role supervises the team responsible for executing programs across Island Harvest's network of more than 300 nonprofit partner organizations.
The ideal candidate brings progressive leadership experience in a complex nonprofit human services, healthcare, or related organization, with a proven record of managing professional teams. Knowledge of outreach services and network relations is important, along with advanced computer skills. This is a hands-on executive role for someone who leads by example, thrives on innovation, and is passionate about community impact.
