The Heckscher Museum is celebrating the 36th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act with a free community event created with and for everyone — the Deaf community, blind and low-vision visitors, individuals with developmental disabilities, neurodivergent guests, and people of all ages and abilities. It's a day built on the idea that art belongs to everyone.

Enjoy hands-on art activities and sensory experiences inside the Museum and out in beautiful Heckscher Park. Highlights include ASL readings of children's books, magic tricks by Deaf magician Steve Weiner, gallery tours in ASL, surprise art boxes, a textile art station with exhibiting artist Eileen Shaloum, and much more.
