Lace up your sneakers and experience one of Long Island's most beautiful autumn landscapes at the sixth annual Planting Fields Fall 5K Run/Walk. The scenic course winds through paved pathways, open grassy turf, and forest trails across the historic Olmsted Brothers-designed grounds — with approximately 170 feet of elevation gain to keep things interesting.

Whether you're a seasoned runner or prefer a leisurely walk through peak fall foliage, this event welcomes all fitness levels. A Kids Fun Run covers a half-mile loop (parents run free!), and the festivities include collectible finisher medals for the first 300 finishers, live DJ entertainment, food trucks, fall crafts, and costume contests. Halloween costumes are encouraged!
