All season long, seven artists have been living and working at Caumsett State Historic Park Preserve, letting its fields, woods, and shoreline shape their work. This free afternoon in the Studio Barn is your chance to hear what came of it.

Moderated by Susan Van Scoy, Associate Professor of Art History at St. Joseph's University, the 2026 Artists in Residence will talk about place, inspiration, and process in contemporary art — and how the environment and community influenced their practice. Select works will be on display, with light refreshments and music by Mark Bateman.

Where: Caumsett Artist Studio (Studio Barn), 25 Lloyd Harbor Road, Lloyd Harbor, NY 11743
